A: No- If you installed only the MSI package, and never logged into the Console tab, and never installed the SQL server, your mobile phone will just go straight to the file browser application.

Q: What version of the .net Compact framework does the mobile client require?

Q: Is my mobile device supported?

A: If your device is using Windows Mobile 2003, 5.0, 6.0 then it is. If you are using a non-touchscreen device, or one that is running Standard or Smartphone edition then you need to get the smartphone client. http://www.alekseibytecode.com/SmartPhoneWHBClient.exe

Q: I don't have a Windows Mobile Phone-why should I download HomeBase?

A: If you want to run your own blog on your WHS, then you can use the Desktop Client to manage your blog.

Q: I installed the Blogriffic application. Where do I go to get my blog?

Q: I am getting an exception when I go to the HomeBaseShare site?

A: Because of the way that permissions are done, you may need to restart your Home Server in order for IIS to be able to get access to the database.
